El martes, 25 de noviembre, tuvo lugar la visita de representantes del Centro Penitenciario de Monterroso y del Centro de Adultos a los Centros de Menores de Montefiz y Monteledo.
El objetivo era que los menores del Centro de Monteledo conociesen, de primera mano, la realidad de lo que es un Centro Penitenciario.
La visita comenzó con un breve encuentro con miembros del Centro de Montefiz, entre los cuales se encontraba su director y la profesora responsable del proyecto Grundtvig "el corazón lejano", encuentro que fue aprovechado para tratar algunos asuntos relativos a la organización interna del proyecto.

On Tuesday, November 25th, there was a visit from representatives of the Penitentiary Centre of Monterroso and from the Adult Center to the Minor Centres of Montefiz and Monteledo, in Ourense.
The aim was that children of the Center in Monteledo know, directly, the reality about what a prison is.
The visit began with a brief meeting with members of the Centre of Montefiz, among which was its director and the teacher in charge of the Grundtvig project "the heart far away", when they could talk about some issues relating to the internal organization of the project.



Después de esta breve visita, tuvo lugar el encuentro en el Centro de Monteledo. Durante el mismo, los alumnos del Centro pudieron preguntar al Director del Centro Penitenciario, a los profesores del Centro de Adultos y, especialmente a los dos internos del Centro que nos acompañaron, todo aquello que les interesaba sobre la vida en un Centro Penitenciario. Fue especialmente interesante la aportación de los dos internos, cuya experiencia buscamos sirviera para que supiesen la verdadera realidad de una prisión y comprendiesen por qué nunca deberían realizar ninguna acción que pudiera finalizar con una condena en un Centro Penitenciario.

After this brief visit, there was an encounter in the Centre of Monteledo. During this encounter, students of the Centre were able to ask the Director of the Prison, teachers from the Center for Adults, and especially to the inmates of the centre who accompanied us, anything they wanted to know about life in a prison. It was particularly interesting the contribution of the two inmates, whose experience we seek it would serve for they can know the true reality of a prison and understand why it should never do anything that might end with a sentence in a prison.



Tras este interesante debate, nos desplazamos a Ourense. Durante la visita a la ciudad, los internos pudieron conocer los rincones emblemáticos de la bella ciudad de Galicia, como sus fuentes termales.

After this interesting debate, we move to Ourense. During the visit to the city, the inmates could know the emblematic corners of the beautiful city of Galicia, and its thermal fountains.



Finalmente, agradecer a los miembros del proyecto Grundtvig de los Centros de Montefiz y Monteledo, como a los del Centro de Adultos de Ourense, tanto las facilidades para la visita, como sus esfuerzos en el proyecto Grundtvig "el corazón lejano". Y agradecer especialmente a los internos del Centro Penitenciario de Monterroso, miembros del proyecto Grundtvig, su colaboración desinteresada en esta interesante visita.
